Maté tea (Paraguay Tea) is a herbal tea that is consumed frequently and traditionally hot in the South American geography. It has a bitter and slightly bitter taste similar to coffee. The green leaves of the Yerba Mate plant are collected, dried and roasted just like black tea. These leaves, roasted before drinking, are brewed in 70 to 85 ° C hot water.
