The Leda Settlement is in the state of Alto Paraguay, one of the poorest areas in the region. It is amazing how much $50 can do to make the life of school children better. Last summer, we received donations that allowed us to have 20 school desks, each costing $15, made for the children in Esperanza. This year some children are still bringing their furniture from home so they can sit in their classroom. In villages where electricity and running water are lacking and a two-hour boat ride is needed to access the nearest clinic, so much can be done with your help.

 

Donations made through the website will be used largely to expand the work that volunteer teams are doing in various indigenous villages near the Leda Settlement. Our volunteers are paying to offer their skills and labor but they can use your help. Please be a part of the good work being done by donating once or even regularly at our website. As you know, the more you can help, the more it helps. All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax-deductible.
